The Bank of Nova acknowledges and celebrates the accomplishments of Mrs. Annette Lestrade, Branch Manager, Fort Street, for her dedication and service over her tenure at the Bank.
For approximately 30 years, Annette has held several positions at Scotiabank, most notably as Sales and Service Coach in Caribbean East where she provided direction and support to branches in 9 countries as well as her current role, Branch Manager, where she led Team Fort Street and St. Kitts-Nevis on a whole to winning several Regional Campaigns (too numerous to mention) but specifically, the Award for Best Results for a Small Business Team in the Region in 2016.
Scotiabank values Leaders who are able to coach and build team members under their care so that they themselves may realize their goals and feel empowered. The bank also values Leaders who are strategic in thinking, who constantly review their existing paths and the direction of their teams in an effort to effect positive change, thinking outside the box and are able to view the “Big Picture”.
Annette, is a perfect blend of Strategy and Execution and many a person have said “Girl, if I could clone you, I would. If I could bottle and sell you, I would”, in order that other teams would be just as inspired and be able to benefit under the tutelage and coaching of our beloved Leader, Annette.
However, don’t be fooled, Annette is not solely about work. She has a flair for fashion and has been known to chaperone many a Carnival Queen in Dominica. Her Dominican accent complete with the French phrase, which we hear every day – “Mon Dieu”, makes Annette all the more endearing to every Scotiabanker here in St. Kitts-Nevis and in the wider Caribbean.
As Annette prepares to retire within the next two months, the Bank of Nova Scotia wishes to thank Annette for her selflessness, her tireless efforts in developing young talent at the bank, her diligence, for being a worthy role model for all staff, specifically female staff members and particularly for demonstrating such sterling leadership qualities.
